Brooke loves storytelling, the insane power of the human voice, and SOUND EFFECTS!!! Woohoo!…First off, she earned a BA in Theatre Arts and trained with the renowned Meisner acting technique pioneer William Esper in New York City. (She'll never give up her 917!) After more than just a few years as a performer in New York and Los Angeles, she went back to school to complete two Certificates of Achievement in audio production and broadcast journalism.
Just so you know, the Meisner acting technique focuses on listening and improvisation -- two things that have served her well in radio...especially when she got to work with LA radio veteran Phil Hulett as a contributing "friend" on his radio show and podcast "Phil Hulett and Friends."
She created, produced and hosted “Sweet Life,” a radio show and podcast focusing on unusual career options and important soft skill development. Between the two of us, she is still SUPER proud of it. Not like arrogant or anything, I mean, really very modest, but, yes...very proud. You can find more segments of “Sweet Life” on YouTube and SoundCloud.
It's fun when you get to a certain point in your life and you can look back and see how every random thing you've done has led you to exactly where you want to be. This may be what is called a Payoff? Yes, totally.
