Brooke loves stories, sound effects, and the power of the human voice…She earned a BA with honors in Theatre Arts from Presbyterian College, trained with the renowned Meisner acting pioneer William Esper in New York City, and went back to school completing two Certificates of Achievement in audio production and broadcast journalism.
The Meisner acting technique focuses on listening and improvisation -- two things that serve her well in radio. One of her most memorable radio experiences was co-hosting a live remote broadcast from the world-famous Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA.
Brooke was awarded Honors Extraordinaire for her scholastic work and weekly radio show “Sweet Life,” which she created, produced and hosted. You can find her podcast of “Sweet Life” on YouTube and SoundCloud. Podcasts are still being posted!
